1. REGISTRATION: Schedule of Online workshops for learning Indian classical art forms by the renowned Gurus in Dhaka who studied in India under the ICCR’s Scholarship.

The Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC), announces commencement of Online workshops on Indian Classical art forms : Manipuri Classical Dance and Kathak Dance as per the details given below:-

Bio-profile : Warda Rihab was introduced into the world of dance and music at a very tender age. She got her initial training in Manipuri dance from the well known Bangladeshi dancer and choreographer, Smt. Sharmila Banerjee (ICCR Alumni) and Tamanna Rahman (ICCR Alumni)at Chhayanaut which is one of the most prestigious cultural organizations of Bangladesh. Finished her Bachelor’s degree in Manipuri Classical dance from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, India under the ICCR SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME.

4. Registration will require online filling of registration form. No fees is required for any of the workshops. Registration is mandatory.

5. LAST DATE FOR REGISTRATION is 18 July 2020. NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER THE LAST DATE OF REGISTRATION.

6. Registration for each batch would be limited to 15 students per batch for each subject.

7. Once registered for a particular batch of workshop the same CANNOT be altered during the duration of the workshop. A participant cannot apply in both the subjects simultaneously as the timing of the workshop will coincide with each other.

8. There will be 4 sessions in the workshop which will include 1 session a week. Each session will be of 45 mints(approx). Each session will be live in Google Meet. Those participants who can join classes in Google meet may apply. The links will be sent to the participants through email. Thus, it is requested to fill in proper email ids while filling up the registration form. The workshops will start from Friday starting from 24 July 2020 and ending on 14 August 2020( every Friday). The students will then be asked for feedback or questions by the Gurus as per schedules fixed by the Gurus. At the end of the workshop the student will be asked to send a video of self performance on any particular lesson decided by the Guru, following which the Guru will judge and decide eligibility of the students to receive a certificate for the workshop.
