Self Financing Scheme for admission in B.E/B.Tech/ B.Pharmacy/MBBS/BDS/Diploma in Engg/Diploma in Pharmacy courses for academic year 2023-24

Sub: Self Financing Scheme  for admission in B.E/B.Tech/ B.Pharmacy/MBBS/BDS/Diploma in Engg/Diploma in Pharmacy courses for academic year 2023-24.

Applications are invited from eligible Bangladeshi nationals for the admission to the following undergraduate and Diploma courses in India under Self Financing Scheme (SFS) for the academic year 2023-24:-

   i) BE/B.Tech
   ii) B.Arch
   iii) B.Pharmacy
   iv) MBBS
   v) BDS
   vi) Diploma in Engg/Diploma in Pharmacy

(Please note that candidates are required to appear in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by NTA for admission in MBBS/ BDS Courses in India)

2. Eligibility :-

For MBBS/BDS

Minimum of 50% aggregate marks with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) separately and 50% in English in the qualifying examination (equivalent to 10+2 standard of CBSE in India- equivalence certificate from AIU, New Delhi).

The selection of candidates for MBBS/BDS will purely on the basis of scores of NEET. It shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of marks at 50th percentile in NEET. For further details please log on to www.cbseneet.nic.in

For BE/B.Tech: Minimum 60% aggregate marks with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics separately and 50% in English in the qualifying examination (equivalent to 10+2 standard of CBSE in India- equivalence certificate from AIU, New Delhi).

For B. Pharmacy :- Minimum 60% marks with at least 60%in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) separately and 50% in English in the qualifying examination (equivalent to 10+2 standard of CBSE in India- equivalence certificate from AIU, New Delhi).

For B. Arch: Required to pass Aptitude Test by Council of Architecture.

For Diploma in Engineering Courses: Minimum of 60% aggregate marks with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% in English in 10th (equivalent to 10+2 standard of CBSE in India- equivalence certificate from AIU, New Delhi).

For Diploma in B.Pharmacy : Minimum of 60% aggreegate marks with at least 60% in physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and 50% in English in 10th in the qualifying examination  (equivalent to 10+2 standard of CBSE in India- equivalence certificate from AIU, New Delhi).

3. Equivalency Certificate

An equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities ( AIU), New Delhi website http://www.aiuweb.org/Evaluation/evaluation.asp  has to be submitted,. AIU may be consulted in this regard.

4. Candidates applying under SFS may please submit the following:-

   a) Four complete sets of duly filled up application forms.
   b) Three copies of candidate’s recent photographs duly attested by the Mission/Post pasted at prescribed places in the application.
   c) Three attested copies of candidate's certificates, mark sheets with percentage of marks of qualifying examinations (A certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi that the candidate’s qualifying examination is equivalent to 10+2 standard of CBSE in India).
   d) Three attested copies of first four pages of the passport, citizenship certificate, birth certificate and character certificate from the Head of Institution last attended attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs,Government of Bangladesh and High Commission of India, Dhaka.
   e) NEET-UG 2023 score for MBBS/BDS only.

The last date for receipt of application is on 20.06.2023 at Education Wing, High Commission of India , Dhaka, Plot No.1-3 Park Road, Baridhara, Dhaka 1212 (Tel No. 55067301-308, extension 1096). Only ink signed copies of the applications with original photographs pasted and attested by the Mission would be accepted. The candidates are required to be present their original certificates for verification at the time of submission of their application forms in person. Selected candidates are required to comply with admission formalities, fee structure and procedures of respective colleges/ Universities, including medical tests in India.
