Bio-profile :

Mr. Amit Chowdhury is working as a Demonstrator at “Dept. of Theater and Performing Studies”, University of Dhaka since 2016. He has worked as a full time Choreographer at Shadhona Cultural Centre for the last 11 years. In this duration he has conducted three “Tagore Dance Drama namely “Mayar Khela” “Fireflies”and “Aai Amader Aangone” under the supervision of Shadhona. Apart from this he had worked as a Bharatnatyam Dance teacher in Kolpotoru dance school for last 11 years. Mr. Amit had performed in many classical Dance festivals in India and Bangladesh including “Khajuraho Dance Festival-2017”, “Bengal Classical Music Festival 2014 & 2018” etc.

She is the Director & Choreographer of Nrityangan and is working at BAFA (Bangladesh Academy of Fine-Arts), Dhaka, as a Dance Teacher from July’ 2013 to till now.She had also worked as Dance teacher at Cambrian School and College, Bangladesh Udichi Shilpogosthi, Nrittolok Shanskritik Kendra, Nrityangan Kathak Kendra, Kolkata, India & Bangladesh Shishu Academy, Naogaon

4. Registration will require online filling of registration form. No fees is required for any of the workshops. Registration is mandatory.

5. LAST DATE FOR REGISTRATION is 24 November 2020. NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER THE LAST DATE OF REGISTRATION.

6. Registration for each batch would be limited to 45 students per batch for each subject.

7. Once registered for a particular batch of workshop the same CANNOT be altered during the duration of the workshop.

8. There will be 4 sessions in the workshop which will include 1 session a week. Each session will be of 45 mints(approx). Each session will be live in Google Meet. Those participants who can join classes in Google meet may apply. The links will be sent to the participants through email. Thus, it is requested to fill in proper email ids while filling up the registration form. The workshops will start from Friday/Saturday starting from 27/11/2020 (for Bharatnatyam) & 28/11/2020 (for Kathak) and ending on 18/12/2020 (for Bharatnatyam) & 19/12/2020 (for Kathak). The students will then be asked for feedback or questions by the Gurus. At the end of the workshop the students will be asked to send a video of self performance on any particular lesson decided by the Guru, following which the Guru will judge and decide eligibility of the students to receive a certificate for the workshop.
